Lord Vishnu, the sustainer of life and the cosmos is considered as part of the holy trinity according to Hindu theosophy; the other two Gods being Lord Brahma, the progenitor and Lord Shiva, the destroyer. The ancient stone idol is found along with other deities at Harishankar, a picturesque hillock, situated in about 85 kilometers away from Balangir of Orissa, India.
